I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor, and hold a doctorate in marriage and family therapy. I currently provide individual, couple, and family therapy. I also provide systemic leadership consultation, executive coaching, and workforce wellness services.
I am committed to honoring your autonomy, perspective, and experience in order to collaborate with you to reach your therapy goals. I view each person through a non-pathologizing lens and am committed to using my skills and resources to facilitate healing experiences during our time together. I strive to foster authentic relationships, offer challenges to facilitate growth, and empower individuals, couples, and families to actively engage in the process of healing.
My clinical expertise includes couple’s therapy, family therapy for families with adolescent children, life cycle transitions such as job loss, retirement, family separation, and becoming new parents, high achieving individuals, existential psychotherapy, trauma recovery, adolescents, mood disorders, and therapy for boys and men.
I am also an Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy in Mount Mercy University’s MFT program. At MMU, I have the privilege of educating and supervising future marriage and family therapists in master's and doctorate programs. My academic interests include men and masculinity, parent and child relationships, community and professional leadership, and mental health advocacy and policy-making. As a professor, I have presented at local, national, and international conferences and bring this expertise and experience into my work as a therapist and consultant.
Thank you for your interest in my services and I look forward to working with you.
