About Me

My therapeutic approach is rooted in systemic healing with a focus on relational communication patterns and emotional engagement. I embrace an empathetic and attuned approach, trusting you to co-create a meaningful path forward toward authentic healing, while implementing mindfulness techniques to ease anxiety, increase focus, and invite open and curious reflection.

I believe the beautiful and hard work of healing increases our capacity to express and receive genuine love, allowing for deeper connection to ourselves and others, and the emergence of more resilient relationships and meaningful lives. Through our work, I will aim to decenter cultural narratives surrounding notions of who we should become, in favor of authentically embracing and humbly discovering who we are.

Prior to my career as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I worked with couples and individuals locally as a financial advisor. Though most advisors do not see financial work through an emotional lens, after nearly a decade of sitting with clients discussing financial matters involving struggles such as death, divorce, and job loss,  I began to find meaning in holding supportive space for my clients while decentering wealth in favor of addressing personal value systems and social stigmas surrounding identity, grief, and loss. This work continues to inform my therapeutic practice.

As a community member, I am an advocate for LGBTQ rights, equity, safety and equality. I believe in the healing nature of community, the strength of diversity, and the intrinsic value of the arts in cultivating and expressing meaningful personal and collective narratives that bolster social change.
